OWNER & CEO
Matt has suffered from "Idea Surplus Disorder" as long as he can remember. He has a natural knack for creating methods that help really smart people think, meet and learn together better.
An accomplished facilitator, Matt has consulted with legal, accounting and healthcare professionals around the world, as well as with executives from companies like McDonald's, HP, IBM, British Petroleum, Nokia and DuPont.
Matt is most comfortable when he's coaxing large groups of people to do uncomfortable things -- whether using improv to get them to better understand customer challenges, drawing so they see the big picture, or even dancing the tango so they can learn what meaningful collaboration feels like. He's designed meetings and conferences for Microsoft, Wells Fargo, the National Creativity Network and Creative Alberta.
A former lawyer (please don't hold that against him), Matt still authors the award-winning legal blog "the [non]billable hour," where he shares innovative ways for lawyers and other professionals serve clients better.
Matt lives in St. Louis' Central West End with his wife, Jessica and daughter, Grace.
Jason is Kendeo’s Creative Director and jack of all trades. Though his design career began in high school drawing caricatures at a local theme park, he’s also been a grocer, pizza guy, book seller, medical records clerk, screen printer, and toy company storyboard artist.
It's this mix of design and real-world experience that helps Jason bring a unique vision to Kendeo’s work. He has focused on high-level business concept design and communication for the last two decades, and has spent hundreds of hours drawing in front of some of the world’s most senior executives.
While Jason is a St. Louis native, he currently lives in Dallas, where he runs, rides motorcycles, draws comics and hangs out with his girlfriend Jena and their cat Kirby.
Jeff has been drawing, designing and creating for more than 25 years. From self-published comics and zines to heavy-metal album covers, he's been telling stories with pictures most of his life.
There are few illustrators who possess the depth and breadth of Jeff's experience. He's worked on thousands of infographics, corporate communications, visual maps and games. At Kendeo, he's our go-to person for complex and technically challenging rendered illustrations.
Also a St. Louis native, Jeff enjoys cartoons, sci-fi, his wife, his new-born daughter, and turning fledgling thoughts into illustrated ideas.
